CAREGIVER / HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT

Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate, responsible, and dedicated Caregivers / Healthcare Assistants to provide quality personal care and daily support to elderly individuals, patients, children, or persons requiring assistance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the comfort, safety, dignity, and wellbeing of clients while providing professional and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support clients with mobility, transfers, and movement where required.
• Assist with feeding and meal preparation according to the client’s needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor the client’s condition and report any changes to the appropriate person.
• Assist with prescribed medication routines as directed by a qualified healthcare professional.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments when required.
• Assist with basic household tasks related to the client’s care.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect the client’s privacy and dignity.
• Follow all care plans, safety procedures, and instructions provided by supervisors or healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided where required.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant caregiving, healthcare assistant, nursing assistant, or homecare experience preferred.
• Caregiver, Healthcare Assistant, Nursing Assistant, or related training/certification is an advantage.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, trustworthy, and responsible.
• Ability to work independently and follow care instructions.
• Physically capable of assisting clients with mobility and daily activities.
• Previous experience caring for elderly persons, children, patients, or persons with special needs is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site and according to the employer’s required schedule.
